Overview

SMA Lab ("the App") is a backtesting tool for cryptocurrency trading strategies. This policy explains what data the App does — and does not — collect.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

• The App does not require account creation, login, or any personal information.
• The App does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising identifiers.
• All backtest calculations run entirely on your device, in your browser. No price data, symbols you search, or results are sent to us or stored on any server we control.

Third-Party Data

To run backtests, the App fetches public cryptocurrency price data directly from Coinbase's public Exchange API (api.exchange.coinbase.com). This is a direct connection from your device to Coinbase — we do not see, log, or store these requests. Coinbase's own privacy policy governs that connection: coinbase.com/legal/privacy

Local Storage

The App may store minor technical data locally on your device (such as your last-used settings) using your browser's local storage, purely to improve your experience between sessions. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
